I wanted to shed some light on what's next for DELTARUNE - Hypothesis and what's happening behind the scenes, since for the folk who are not in the discord, barely anything has been explained.

To cut a long story short:
MORE HYPOTHETICALS!!
MORE LOGS!!
MORE DR HYPOASTER!!

More hypotheticals are currently in development, and I plan for them to be much bigger in scope and with a lot more content packed within them, I'm talking MORE fights, MORE emotional moments and MORE secrets. MORE MORE MORE!!! God, I can't get enough of this!! If you haven't already, have a watch of the 1000 Follower Special if you want to see some sneak peeks into what's being worked on next.

sigh.. I GUESS.. I could go more into detail about what hypotheticals are going to be in the next content update.

OUTLAWED

OUTLAWED is a chapter 3 focused hypothetical that actualizes a sheriff/western themed secret boss, turning FRIEND INSIDE ME into something that I personally think would be a little more plausible than a greyscale woody talking about some yellow/pink eyed fella inside of him.



Meet Sheriff Longshot! A humble sheriff originating from Tumble County, A little western village with a big heart. Unlike other peculiar individuals you've encountered on your journey, Longshot is a lot more well mannered and kindhearted!

Is.. this guy even a secret boss?

Now, Sheriff Longshot is one thing, but how about we increase the depth of this hypothetical..

Now entering the Darkworld, Asgore Dreemurr!

That's right, Asgore Dreemurr will be accompanying the party in this Hypothetical! How will he cope with this new environment? Will he relate to Sheriff Longshot, and his troubles? Will his stupid ex-wife finally love him?

Uh, I don't think that last one will be answered... This hypothetical will span from meeting Longshot to helping end his woes.

This IS NOT an entire Chapter 3 Darkworld hypothetical, god knows how long that would take. Instead, think of it being a summarized version of Spamton's screen time from Chapter 2. Like, you'll get to meet him, learn a bit about him, help him with a problem (in a very sneaky way!), find out a lot more about him, and finally settle things like cowboys.

The ROARING Begins

The ROARING Begins (TRB) is a shorter, more cutscene centric hypothetical that'll showcase a scenario that would result in the ROARING being trigged.

TRB is a personal favorite of mine because it has a moment that genuinely brings a tear to my eye when thinking about it possibly happening in DELTARUNE. (This dudes a wimp lmao)

Now, of course, I can't just drop you in right at the sad part. Where's the fun in that? I hope you've been doing your homework, because your group project is due TODAY!


All student pairs will be presenting their group projects! Some, uh, better than others..



ALRIGHT. That's ENOUGH, ENOUGH. I've shared too much, hopefully Dr Hypoaster won't be too angry at me..

Oh yeah, on the topic of Dr Hypoaster.. Did you know he's actually REAL???

The connection is a bit unstable, yes, but Dr Hypoaster is active and willing to chat to participants in the DELTARUNE - Hypothesis Discord, whether it be for his amusement, answering questions about himself or his situation, getting feedback for his hypotheticals, and or revealing some stuff a little earlier than I'd like... this buffoon loves leaking stuff, I swear!

Dr Hypoaster will be a bigger part of DELTARUNE - Hypothesis in the future, I can assure you not all logs will be just reading or listening! He recently managed to cobble together a recording device and has been willing to say hello face to face, I'm surprised he's not too camera shy. So, again, if you're interested in learning more about him or just want to join to get some early teasers and sneak peeks, do feel free to join the discord! (3x discord plug, god I'm good at this.)

The Race to beat Toby

Me and that damn canine are racing. See, I want to release this content update BEFORE DELTARUNE Chapters 3 & 4. This would be the best time, in my opinion, since I plan to go back and update previous hypotheticals to better fit the new story and characters we'll encounter in the next chapters, after taking a small break.

For example, adding Chapter 3 & 4 NPCs to A Prophecy Foretold, so folk don't think the story just ended right after chapter 2.

However, Chapters 3 & 4 are approaching.. FAST! I'm just as excited for DELTARUNE tomorrow as the next guy, but I need to beat Toby so everything development side goes to plan. So, uh, I guess we'll see who wins. That's all for now, every second spent typing is another second that mutt works on DELTARUNE.
